TCG Cloud Devops Engineer
Stanford's central IT organization has an opening for a Cloud Devops Engineer, someone who will work with our team of technologists in building and supporting modern systems in the cloud. Technology Consulting Group (TCG) is an entrepreneurial, ambitious and nimble team with a keen focus on customer service.
This is a full-time position in a fee-for-service, cost-recovery group; we engage with the entire Stanford community and are growing our team of 13 technologists. We have about 550 systems under our care, and growing. TCG supports cloud, virtual, and on-premise physical systems.
Join our 13 other engineers and ops folks to migrate or re-architect systems in AWS, Azure and/or GCP. We are located in our brand-new Redwood City campus, in Cardinal Hall. Most of the IT staff in University IT are in that building (along with, fortuitously, the food hall and billiards tables).
Each client has a different set of priorities and constraints; thus, each project and solution is uniquely tailored. We have varying degrees of scale, with different mixes of technologies but use a common tool set. We're with the client throughout the solution's lifecycle.
