Job Details
QualificationsHigh school diploma orequivalent and three years of experience with the various types ofhardware and software to be supported, two years of which includes usersupport, user training, and/or programming. Thoroughknowledge of applicable computer hardware or software. Skill in operatingsupported computers and peripherals; in configuring computer hardware andsoftware; to analytically design program logic or solve technical problems.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to workeffectively with clients; and providing guidance and instruction to others. Except for qualifications established by law, additionalrelated experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge,skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the jobclass may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on ayear-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year ofexperience.
