Conducts experiments to assess effects of ocean acidification on marine, invertebrates; quantifies species diversity and abundance in sessile invertebrates using photographs, and computer software and provides assistance in the field and lab.

Shift Specifics: 15 hours per week; flexible with class schedule.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Previous experience scuba diving and/or working with scientific samples and equipment.

Preferred Education

Pursuing a degree in Biology or a related field.
