Provides subject-specific tutoring to student-athletes and maintains daily records of tutoring sessions.

Shift specifics: 6 – 12 hours per week; must be available to work at least two nights per week (Sunday – Thursday)

Tutoring Center is open Sunday 1 PM – 10 PM and Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 10 PM.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Minimum Education Required

Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University; successful completion of at least two (2) of the following courses with a grade of “B” or better:

PSYC 1101 Introduction to Psychology
SOCI 1101 Introduction to Sociology
PSYC 2231 Research and Analysis I
PSYC 3101 Abnormal Psychology
PSYC 3102 Cognitive Psychology
PSYC 3103 Lifespan Developmental Psychology
PSYC 3106 Social Psychology
CHFD 1131 Intro to Family Science
CHFD 2135 Child Development
CHFD 3139 Parental Education and Guidance
