Essential Functions:
- Implements, executes and manages, the leased lounge and housing block inspection process.
- Serves as the primary liaison to student organizations with leased lounges, the Office of Student Engagement, and Facilities and Campus Services regarding lounge project improvements and lounge and block inspections.
- Manages departmental vehicles including all maintenance services, cleaning and reservations.
- Management of residential facilities keys
- Manages lock recores
- Student room key box preparation
- Key inventory and reconciliation with WFU Lock Shop database
- Oversight of key distribution throughout seasonal processes
- Coordinates electronic key audits/transitions in conjunction with other departmental staff, in partnership with the Deacon OneCard Office.
- Provides assistance to students, families and other residential guests through the management of day-to-day facilities/housing issues, including but not limited to, work orders and deficiency lists.
- Assists with the weekly inspections of residential facilities including common areas and grounds.
- Coordinates daily with contracted Pest Control services for residential facilities.
- Management of all Residence Life and Housing Off-Campus Properties including contract management and bi-monthly inspections of properties.
- Attends all Central Office meetings.
- Attends regular meetings with campus partners.
- Serves on a variety of committees, projects, and programs within the RLH office and University community.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Fulfill central office duty on a rotating basis as assigned year-round.
- Participates in an on-call rotation
Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus two to three years full-time experience in Residence Life and Housing, Facilities Management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must be organized with strong attention to detail. Must be able to walk stairs and maneuver through the campus residential areas and buildings. Must have a valid driver’s license to operate university vehicles. Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 25+ pounds.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to communicate with a variety of constituents, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to organize workflow and coordinate projects within office and with other departments on campus.
- Ability to interpret policy and procedures established within the Office of Residence Life and Housing.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as assigned.
