Job Description:


Basic Function and Responsibility:


Oversee general operation of college Fitness Center when the manager or part-time staff is absent.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Oversee day-to-day operations for the Fitness Center during an absence of the Fitness Center Manager or Fitness Center part-time staff.
2. Monitor fitness center users to ensure their safety.
3. Check in and check out fitness center users as appropriate under college policies and procedures.
4. Perform other job related duties as assigned.



Requirements:


Supervision Received:
General supervision is received from the Fitness Center Manager.
Qualifications and Working Conditions:



1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of fitness center operations.
3. Prior experience in Fitness/Wellness environment preferred
4. Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED required.


References
Two references required.



Additional Information:


Salary: $18.27 hourly



****This is a temporary position. The incumbent is limited to 500 work hours. The duration of the assignment is to be determined, but will be less than one year and may be subject to changes in hours and schedule based on needs of the area.****
