Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies (SPCS) is an innovative center for pre-collegiate education committed to Stanford's ideals of academic excellence and respect for diversity of backgrounds and experiences. SPCS brings together intellectually curious students from around the world in engaging learning communities, designed to foster critical thinking, promote personal growth, and inspire dedication to lifelong learning in the next generation of global citizens.
SPCS is seeking an Enrollment Coordinator to be responsible for making recommendations and resolving first level decisions on issues regarding admission, financial aid, housing, registrar services, using defined policies and practices and professional knowledge. The Enrollment Coordinator will provide advice to participants and parents on a range of issues to guide them in making appropriate choices and decisions.
Please Note: This is a one year, fixed-term position. The position is located at Stanford's new Redwood City Campus. https://redwoodcity.stanford.edu/
Your responsibilities include:
- Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
- Basic analysis and problem solving skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
- Understanding of financial transactions.
- Ability to learn and understand compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
- Ability to frequently sit and perform desk-based computer and other office-related tasks.
