Accounting & Performance AnalystInvestment Management Office

Summary

Reporting to the Director of Investment Accounting for Tulane University, the Accounting and Performance Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Endowment's performance system in the Investment Management Office.  This role will upload, maintain and audit our finance data while providing performance reconciliation versus our custodian results. In order to achieve these results, the Analyst will interface with Tulane's Accounting office and investment management firms. In addition to ensuring our data's integrity, this position will help model return on investment and fund performance in relation to our Custodian models.

 

Located in Darien, Connecticut, Tulane's Endowment Office is a ten-person team who are devoted to the advancement of higher education through innovation and commitment to excellence. The Accounting and Performance Analyst position will provide exposure to accounting and performance calculations as they relate to hedge funds and private equity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a financial reporting or analytics related capacity
• Some courses in accounting and/or finance with general knowledge of accounting/performance systems, financial products, and/or Hedge Funds and Private Equity. 
• Knowledge of the performance system Backstop preferred.
