Position Summary:

This is skilled technical work involving operating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing building electrical systems and components to include electrical components in other building systems (HVAC, communications, security, plumbing, lighting, etc.) due to new construction or renovations

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.
  • Ability to understand electric circuit diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals and use same to troubleshoot system problems, make repairs, and install new components.
  • Ability to use electric diagnostic test equipment and tools of the electrical trade.
  • Ability to understand and apply standard trade practices in performing work.

Physical Demands:

  • Walking, standing, climbing stairs, stooping, crawling, standard and/or ladder and scaffold work, lifting up to 75lbs.
  • Most work performed in building
