Job Summary:

Adjunct teaching position to teach Biology courses. The courses are taught in the day, evening, and/or online. Locations for classes include the Port Arthur campus, dual-enrollment, Early College High School, and correctional facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Masters degree in Biology is required or a Masters degree with 18 hours of graduate work in biology.
Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner.
Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, speak, listen, and see. The employee is occasionally required to sit, lift, pull, and carry objects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience at a two-year college or university.

Salary:

Depends upon course load.

Work Hours:

Time to teach varies: Day, Evening or Online.
