QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentand 2 years of clerical or related experience, such as dispatching or emergencycommunications. Candidate must possess basic computer skills and experienceworking with windows based communications systems and alarm systems. Except for qualificationsestablished by law, additional related experience and formal education in whichone has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for fullperformance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the educationor experience on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalentto one year of experience. A Criminal Background Investigationincluding a polygraph and psychological evaluation is required for the hiredcandidate and the results may impact employment.
