Job SummaryPart-time custodian to keep buildings clean and sanitary for use by the college community.
Essential FunctionsThoroughly clean restrooms, classrooms and offices daily using proper specified procedures as determined by supervisor. Perform various building cleaning tasks including but not limited to: clean and vacuum carpets; maintain hard surface flooring; remove all trash and recycle materials; clean chalkboards, whiteboards, ledges and erasers; clean glass; wash windows; dust furniture; clean ceiling diffusers; clean trash cans; clean walls; other tasks as required or needed.
Required QualificationsExperience operating extractors, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and related equipment. Ability to read and understand operating instructions. Ability to periodically move equipment/furniture/supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
Desired QualificationsOne year of commercial cleaning experience including hard surfaces and restrooms.
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday 5:00pm-1:30am
