Position Summary

The candidate will spend 25 hours a week providing research support to the HDFS chair in the spring and fall semesters, and 40 hours a week over the summer. In addition, the candidate will teach one course in the spring semester, one in the fall semester, and will run one research support laboratory for HDFS students in the spring and fall semesters. The candidate would have the following specific responsibilities:

  • Teach HDFS 481: Research/Quantitative Methods (Fall and Spring 2020).
  • Run a research support lab for HDFS doctoral students in the methods sequence.
  • Provide research support for the HDFS chairperson for 25 hours in the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours in the summer.

    Doctorate -Couple and Family Therapy, Family Studies

    Minimum Requirements

    An earned doctorate in Couple/Marriage and Family Therapy, Family Psychology, or a closely related area; A record of scholarly publications; A record of excellence in teaching; Strong knowledge of research methods and statistics including the ability to conduct sophisticated analyses using the applicable software. The candidate will have expertise in regression, dyadic, multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling, and longitudinal analyses.
