The Associate Director of Program Development responsible for assisting with new product development for online courses, micro-credentials, stackable certificates, and other innovative online learning product lines. This highly collaborative position works with internal stakeholders within Digital and Continuing Education in order to identify, develop, pilot and Beta release these new learning experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Executes the strategic vision set by the AVP and institution with regards to new online learning experiences, including stackable learning experiences, micro-credentials, large-scale professional development opportunities online, and assessment of prior learning. (30%)
Promotes and executes the program strategy towards market segments, stackable portfolio approach towards online learning experiences. Conducts market research both within higher education and outside of higher education, focusing also on corporate training segments and best practices from learning within a variety of environments. (30%)
Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders while representing the department in a professional, enthusiastic manner with a customer service and team focus. (15%)
Initiate and maintain organizational systems and operational approaches that support and advance LSU Online programs. (15%)
Identify continuous opportunities for improvement of online program development processes (10%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Education, MBA, MPA and/or 5-10 years Business Development, Client Management or Account Services.
Special or Physical Qualifications
Experience with a CRM and Microsoft Office
