Job Details

The Project Coordinator will support the Taylor Internship Scholarship within the Taylor Family Undergraduate Career Center for the Daniels College of Business. These activities include coordinating marketing to students, assisting with planning and executing workshops and events, coordinating with academic departments for internship classes and credit, working with academic advisors to provide advising guidance, working with financial aid to determine eligible students and securing all necessary paperwork for administering the internship credit and associated scholarship. This position will also assist with scheduling the Daniels Admission Team and assist with class facilitation/grading for undergraduate professional development courses.

This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions

  • Be first point of contact for students for questions regarding the internship scholarship program and Daniels Alumni Grant
  • Manage all paperwork and logistics to secure academic credit for internship scholarship
  • Market programs to students, including using mediums such as workshops, events, emails, social media, advisors, etc.
  • Work with financial aid to determine student eligibility
  • Provide guidance to academic advisors regarding internship scholarship program specifics and eligibility
  • Assist with grading/class facilitation for DPDP
  • Assist with scheduling and overseeing Daniels Admission Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent command of the English language. Candidate must be articulate, succinct and accurate in both written and spoken communication.
  • Ability to track and prepare reports on internship program participation, other career services statistics, etc.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of daily issues.
  • A person in this position should be able to work in conditions of moderate noise, including periods of unscheduled interruptions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • One (1) year of work experience in an office support setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Higher Education setting, specifically Career Services

Work Schedule

Work with supervisor to establish the 20 hours per week schedule

Pay

The pay for this position is $17.60-$18.21 hourly
