Adjunct Faculty- Medical Spanish

Temporary Faculty Position: Medical Spanish - California Northstate University College of Health Sciences (CHS), Rancho Cordova, California, USA

Position Summary: Teach one undergraduate section of Medical Spanish (Span 210), Spring semester 2020.

Job Classification: Part-time

Supervisor: Faculty in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences report directly to the department chair, Dr. William Davis (william.davis@cnsu.edu).

Education and Experience: Minimum of master’s degree in Spanish or related field; doctorate is preferred. Teaching experience in Spanish is highly desired. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and relevant experience. Official university transcripts may be required upon hire.

Job Description: Part-time faculty are expected to maintain the highest standard of classroom teaching excellence, adhere to college policy, and hold regular office hours for student assistance. Part-time faculty may also be asked to attend regular meetings with course lead faculty to maintain alignment with institutional and course learning outcomes.
