The University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering and Applied Science is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant position in the Biomedical Engineering Department. The department is seeking an individual who applies professional knowledge, skills, and training to help conduct experimental research work in a tissue engineering laboratory.
Duties Include but are not limited to the following:
- Performs experiments and records data according to research protocols;
- May perform statistical and graphical analysis of data;
- Interprets data and assists in judging validity of data;
- Responsible for successfully completing assigned tasks;
- Applies research principals for less complex assignments;
- Assists with laboratory management.
- Perform Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology or equivalent level of knowledge.
Additional Qualifications
- 3+ years working in a biological sciences laboratory
- Experience with animal handling, cell isolation and culture, molecular biology techniques
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
