Position Summary:The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an open rank Hepatologist. Duties include, but are not limited to, clinic consultation, inpatient consultation, endoscopic procedures, teaching of trainees, and research. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. An interest in clinical research and teaching is desirable. Candidate will be active in training of GI fellows, residents and medical students. Candidate must be MD, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Rank dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Educational Requirements:MD degree, Board certified/Board eligible in Gastroenterology.
Qualifications and Experience:Proficiency in standard hepatology. At least three years of gastroenterology and training. Good communication and organizational skills with clinical education and/or research interest.
