The BSUS degree assists in increasing enrollment at ECU by providing an avenue for students with a higher number of completed credit hours (a minimum of 75 earned hours is required to declare), transfer students, part-way home students, as well as military-affiliated students complete their degree.

Job Duties

These students must create an individualized degree program that is interdisciplinary and meets the demands of the curriculum proposal process. As a result, the AD assists students with navigating the undergraduate curriculum and building networks with constituents on and off campus. Additional duties include: monitoring student progress towards graduation, helping students build networks with constituents on and off campus, keeping current students informed concerning degree requirements, and general student contact, both face-to-face and electronic.

Program Monitoring and Evaluation: The AD assists the Director in proactively preparing, evaluating and disseminating data pertaining to the BSUS program and its effectiveness. This includes preparation, statistical analysis, and interpretation of survey instruments. These reports are an essential aspect of program evaluation and continuous improvement.
