The Graduate Enrollment Specialist utilizes data, recruitment strategies, and the Slate system to encourage applications and enrollment in graduate programs.

Responsibilities include:

Improving and/or implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies that will identify, attract, admit, enroll and retain a highly qualified, diverse graduate student population.

Incorporating central and locally-developed online recruitment materials, including email campaigns, fact sheets, applications and videos that are used in marketing to attract prospective students, and the development of Internet and web-based communications to enhance recruitment efforts.

Relaying compiled data related to graduate programs to identify areas capable of growing enrollment, and works with recruiting, admissions and technology staff to implement appropriate training and maintain high productivity.

Works with marketing and recruiting data to integrate within the Slate system; and collaborates with colleges and departments to assess program marketing needs, target audiences, messaging and positioning-local, national and international level. Works with marketing and recruiting data to produce reports as needed.

Collaborates with internal communications, colleges and departments, admissions and the Graduate School enrollment team.Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience (note: a combination of post high school education or experience equal to six years may substitute at the equivalent rate).

Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing recruitment, engagement and enrollment efforts.

Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.

Demonstrated problem-solving and project management skills; ability to work independently and as a part of a team; and the ability to analyze data and make decisions relating to recruitment, enrollment and engagement of students.

Knowledge of web-based marketing systems.

Ability to travel to conferences and fairs to recruit graduate students.

Valid driver's license is required.Preferred Experience with graduate admissions, academic marketing, and/or constituent relationship marketing (CRM) systems.Anticipated Salary Range Anticipated starting salary in the low to mid 30's.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Schedule If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
