Job Summary

Temporary, part-time instructor for Fall Semester 2019 at our Perry Career Academy.

Courses may include: Introduction to Business, Small Business Management, Human Relations in Business and Introduction to International Business.

Monday-Friday 1:25-3:00pm

Essential Functions

Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications

BUS102: Master’s in Business or any Master’s with 18 graduate semester credits in Business.

All Other courses: Master’s in field or
related Master’s with 18 semester credits of courses in field beyond the introductory principles level or
Bachelor’s degree in field with documentation in 2 or more areas: Professional certification, 2 years in-field professional employment, Teaching excellence, Research & publication, 18 credits or equivalent relevant coursework beyond Bachelor’s

Desired Qualifications

Teaching experience.
