Position: Assistant Professor of Social Work

Qualifications:

  • MSW and five years post MSW practice experience and a Ph.D. in Social Work or related discipline, or DSW.
  • ABD’s near completion will be considered

Position Description:

One tenure-line, full-time position in a CSWE accredited undergraduate social work program with 141 junior/senior students. The program is seeking candidates with the ability to teach Social Work Research Methods as well as being able to teach across the generalist social work curriculum. Faculty is expected to be outstanding teachers and demonstrate a commitment to creative activity, scholarship, and service to the community and university. The teaching load is four courses (12FLC’s) per semester. Additional expectations include academic advisement, academic programming, service to the University, and continued professional development.
