Position Summary:

The Technology Help Center is accepting applications to fill a position for fall 2019, and for future openings that may occur in the 2019-2020 academic year. The position will be responsible for providing technology assistance to users via walk-ins, phone and email.

Major Responsibilities:

Provides technology support for users via walk-ins, phone and email. Technologies include Windows and Mac computers, Android and iOS smart phones, printers, wireless connectivity, email, Microsoft Office and other business applications. Assists users with account/login issues using Microsoft Active Directory. Works with student staff to ensure proper troubleshooting and information gathering procedures are followed.

Functional and Supervisory Relationships:

Reports to the Manager of the Technology Help Center.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree.
At least one year’s experience in customer services environment. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience working in a helpdesk environment.
Experience working with Active Directory/Print Servers.
