Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
One year appointment teaching all levels of mathematics and/or statistics courses. Duties include 18 hours of teaching per academic year, made up of 3 and 4 credit hour courses. The appointment may be considered for renewal for up to three years total, subject to approval by the department faculty.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or closely related field. Applicants from all areas of mathematics are encouraged to apply.
Other Requirements for the Position
Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality teaching and be active in research.
