JOB PURPOSE:
The distinguished Hongjie Dai research laboratory at Stanford University is seeking to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented laboratory safety and compliance officer. The purpose of this role is to assist Professor Dai with implementing and monitoring safety changes he is making in the operation of his extensive laboratory operation in the Department of Chemistry to ensure that the changes are sustainable. There is the potential for this individual to also participate in the cutting edge research in the Dai group provided the main job responsibilities noted above are met and the individual wishes to increase their time commitment to this position.
