Assistant Professor of Graduate Programs
Department of Graduate Programs in Human Development and Education
Ed. With a Concentration in BCBA
St. Edward's University invites applications for appointment as a full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis to begin Fall 2020.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service commensurate with Assistant Professor rank. Tenure-track faculty are expected to teach a full load (4/4) in fall and spring. Summer teaching is available. Leadership in the M.Ed. BCBA concentration, academic advising, service on university committees, scholarly production, and other responsibilities are expected of faculty.
Qualifications (required)Earned doctorate in Higher Education, BCBA, Special Ed or a closely related field and current BCBA certification required. University teaching experience with excellent references required, specifically in a BCBA program. Research in applied behavior analysis. Candidates with a strong commitment to enhancing diversity in academia, social justice, fostering the university's global initiative, and supporting strategic priorities should reflect such in their application materials. Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check is required.

Ability to contribute to one or more other graduate programs offered in the department
Ability to work effectively in an on-line format
Ability to contribute to the development of new graduate degrees/concentrations
Rank and Salary
Tenure track status and ranking of Assistant Professor is available; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
