The person will be responsible for assisting in the development of an innovative and strategic enrollment management plan for the recruitment of graduate students for the Graduate School. The person will work closely with graduate Program Directors in each academic college. The person will be responsible for the development of printed material for marketing, electronic and social media and non-print forms of program promotion, customer relations management software operation, and open house event development and recruiting. The person will be responsible for travel to select graduate school recruitment fairs and meeting with on-campus groups.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

The person must have excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and with large groups. The person must have marketing and recruiting experience in higher education. Candidate must have strong work ethic, be prompt, and ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution.

Previous experience in data base programs for reports and analysis as well as previous experience in hosting and organizing recruitment activities is preferred.

Previous experience in the use of social media and customer relations management software for the purpose of recruiting adults and college students is desirable.
