Position Summary

The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for helping create, organize, and manage content for the main NYU Law websites and other LS-related websites and digital projects in order to support the strategic student acquisition and retention goals of the school, faculty recruitment and retention, internal student communication and administrative support for student processes, and administrative functions across the Law School.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's Degree.Preferred Education:Bachelor's Degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing or a relevant field.Required Experience:3+ years relevant experience in the editorial/marketing/communications field, preferably in higher education. Experience with SEO, web analytics and reporting.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Experience with Drupal and Wordpress content management systems. An understanding of web content presentation. Strong writing and editing skills. Consistent attention to detail. Able to copyedit/proofread editorial material and follow style guides. Working knowledge of HTML. Adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. Good client skills and enthusiastic attitude required.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Experience managing content for CMS. Experience creating navigation and organizing complex websites. An understanding of information architecture. Knowledge of higher education, particularly law schools. Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and remediation. Working knowledge of CSS. Understanding of metrics reporting and analysis using Google Analytics.
