Position SummaryThis position serves as an Administrator in the Center for K12 STEM Education at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, working closely with the Center’s team, and primarily responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of students in the Center’s fee-based programs for high school students. The Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist recruits, evaluates, and participates in the selection of candidates for admission to these programs. Primary liaison with all NYU offices and individuals involved in the admissions and enrollment processes, and advises Profiles and applicants about Center programs, their value to students and NYU procedures for enrollment, housing, and meal plans.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years administrative/customer service or related experience, focused on communications (via telephone and email with external audiences as well as with colleagues and supervisors); administrative and data entry experience; ability to work accurately and consistently with detailed information; ability to learn procedures and NYU-specific technology toolsRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Workflow management, organizational, problem solving, communication and superior interpersonal skills. Customer focused and process oriented. Ability to work independently.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Familiarity and experience with NYU systems for applicants, enrollment, housing and Minors on Campus compliance, such as Slate (applicant tracking tool), SIS, and AlbertAdditional InformationNYU aims to be among the greenest urban campuses in the country and carbon neutral by 2040.
