Position Summary

The Workplace Experience Manager will oversee the successful operation of NYU's University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) office on a daily basis, implementing policies and programs that ensure a best-in-class workplace experience for staff. Energetic, creative, and hyper-operational, the Workplace Experience Manager will provide high-level customer service and execution of office management responsibilities, and play a critical role in building a positive organizational culture incorporating UDAR and NYU values and priorities. The Workplace Experience Manager will help cultivate and manage our physical office environment, steward organization-wide tools and technologies that enable productivity, and proactively seek operational and administrative solutions that help our staff achieve their best. This position will also supervise and manage a front desk receptionist and associated operations, ensuring visitors, colleagues, student, alumni, and staff receive a professional welcome to UDAR's office space.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's Degree Required Experience:5+ years experience in workplace management and/or customer service or a combination of bothRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Superior relationship management skills and experience building partnerships with colleagues of all backgrounds and experience levels. Strong workflow and project management skills. Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including speaking in front of large audiences. Proficiency in MS Office suite, data entry functions, and G-suite applications.
