Position SummaryThe Administrative Aide I position will provide support to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs.  Serve as source of information to the general public, students, staff and faculty on policies, procedures and office activities and provide basic information. Respond to general inquiries, resolve routine problems, and consult with Associate Dean or others, as needed, on more complex issues. Schedule appointments, maintain individual and/or department calendar, and make arrangements for meetings and travel to and from the University.  Serve as liaison with a variety of administrative offices to facilitate arrangements of meetings and appointments.  Compose routine letters and correspondence for supervisor's review and approval.  Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.  Perform other general word processing and data entry duties.  Create and update spreadsheets.  Monitor activity of moderately complex department budgets and maintain data on spreadsheets.  Review expenses and invoices for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and report results to supervisor.  Perform other clerical duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Education:High School diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:2 years of office experience.Preferred Experience:1-2 years of office experience (with Associate's degree).Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Proficiency with intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Proficiency with intermediate-level Microsoft Office.
