Position Summary

NYU’s prestigious Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director, Registration and Enrollment Services. The Executive Director will lead Stern’s registration, records management and enrollment services to ensure that Stern meets its strategic priority of providing a transformational business education for our students. The Executive Director will direct operations for registration, systems, course scheduling, records management, and enrollment services to ensure that students’ needs are met. The Executive Director will lead the development of sophisticated analyses to inform the Vice Dean and Dean’s decision making on the school’s priorities and long term strategic goals. The Executive Director will also cultivate productive relationships with faculty, students, and staff. S/he will also direct the graduate division student information system requirements and lead the implementation of complex registration systems.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor degree (MBA or Master degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' progressively responsible registration, enrollment services, or university administration experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing staff and online systems are also required, along with proven strategic planning, analytical, relationship building and communication skills. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, database query languages, and advanced Excel is desirable. Experience managing enrollment/registration activities is also preferred.
