The ACE Program Coordinator for Campus Life Arts and Programs is responsible for advising the major program body on campus, the Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE) consisting of 10 Executive Board and 60-75 general body members. The ACE Advisor is responsible for coordinating campus traditions such as Homecoming, UNCW Welcome, Festapalooza and more and curating the Ann Flack Boseman Gallery. These activities enhance the overall education experience of students through development of, exposure to, and participation in social, cultural, multi-cultural, intellectual, leadership and governance programs. This position solicits, hires, trains, and supervises the ACE Graduate Assistant position. The Coordinator will provide logistical coordination for Summer@the Dub Programs.

N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position

Demonstrated ability to lead team building and training sessions for student leaders

Demonstrated abilities with common computer software and Internet use

Preferred education, professional skills and experience

One year of program board advising and experience advising student leaders in program planning and execution

Demonstrated knowledge of program board advising and event planning and management

Knowledge and experience working with contracting, hosting and scheduling third party vendors and performers

Experience with the visual arts or galleries
