Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Duties will include teaching graduate courses in psychotherapy techniques, practicum, and ethics, as well as teaching clinically-related undergraduate courses; supervising practicum masters’ level students; and conducting research with undergraduate/graduate students. A preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated potential for extramural funding. Candidates must be committed to a student-centered approach and have a passion for teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.

Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates should have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited Psychology program and must be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be considered, but the doctoral degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

Experience Required for the Position
The department seeks applicants with interests and expertise in clinical psychology to contribute to its graduate and undergraduate programs.
