Visiting Instructor Business Administration

This is a non-tenure-track status university faculty position that performs all the activities of an instructor in the department. These include effective teaching in one or more of the disciplines represented in the department: Business Intelligence, Business Strategy, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources Management, Management, and Marketing. Job also entails service in the department and delivery that meets the accreditation standards.

Effective teaching of courses in the undergraduate curriculum in the department of BADM. Maintain professional development and ensure relevancy in content areas as needed. Responsible for completing, monitoring and assessing all necessary requirements of student support in the department. Responsible for interaction with students to support their needs as students in the JHJ School of Business. Demonstrated effective teaching that encourages active learning in students. Other duties as assigned by the Chairperson and the Dean.

Master’s Degree or Doctorate from an AACSB accredited university in the relevant Business discipline or related field. Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant business discipline for visiting instructor position in Business Administration. Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Management for visiting instructor position in Management. Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Management Information Systems for visiting instructor position in Management Information Systems. Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Management Science for visiting instructor position in, Management Science. Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing for visiting instructor position in Marketing.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements. Position requires light physical activity (i.e., mostly office jobs).
