The Department of Computer Science at William & Mary seeks applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level to begin in the 2020-2021 academic year. We are interested in exceptional applicants from all areas of computer science. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in computer science or a related field at the time of appointment and must have a strong research record and a commitment to teaching.
William & Mary is consistently ranked in the elite group of the Best National Universities-Doctoral by U.S. News and World Report and is committed to a multi-year effort to strengthen and expand its computer science research program. With a teaching load of two courses per year and institutional support, the department has been rising in national rankings of graduate CS departments, and has been the home of multiple NSF and DOE Career Awards.
