Other responsibilities include facilitating professional staff development opportunities for Residence Life staff, overseeing CA selection and training programs, and developing a residential curriculum incorporating a relational community building model based on the concept of self-authorship. This position will also co-facilitate a credit-bearing leadership course developed specifically for the Residence Life CA program

The Assistant Director will work collaboratively with the Director to coordinate residential components of the University’s First-Year and Sophomore programs, plan annual academic award ceremonies, and partner with a team of University faculty and staff to proactively identify and support students of concern throughout the academic year. This position may also advise student organizations, serve on various University committees, and perform other duties as assigned.
