General Description / Primary Purpose

The Coordinator of Online Student Services, under the direction of an Assistant Director or above, plays an integral role in the coordination and development of support services for distance learning students.

Essential Duties

Job Function

Develop and continually improve knowledge of the main functions of academic and other student support services on campus. Develops and recommends policies relating to services for distance learning students. Coordinates the development, implementation, and interpretation of operating procedures. Responsible for liaison activities between UNF Online unit and other departments. Identifies opportunities for service enhancements and process improvements, and collaborates with the other units to identify and implement appropriate solutions. Responsible for the completion of studies and the preparation of reports.

During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.

Required Qualifications

A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a directly related area of specialization; or a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of experience directly related to the job functions.
