Position Description:
As part of UCLA Anderson's Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) team, the Digital Marketing Manager supports OAR's goal of providing relevant content and connections to UCLA Anderson's community of 40,000 alumni worldwide through building awareness of a curated set of news, stories, resources and events to drive engagement.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing & Communications of OAR, the Digital Marketing Manager manages, designs, and implements strategic marketing and communication efforts through the alumni website, email marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital platforms. He/she provides thought leadership on insights and best practices in email marketing, website development, and content management. He/she serves as the lead webmaster for the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network website and lead digital designer for all alumni web pages, email communications, and social media. He/she ensures that all communications are in line with UCLA brand guidelines, reflecting a professional level of quality and conveying the school's brand and visual identity.

The manager utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create targeted campaigns and execute email marketing efforts to drive alumni engagement. He/she is experienced with working with disparate sets of data to deploy email marketing as well as analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and web engagement patterns. He/she will manage the marketing projects calendar.

In addition, he/she will play a key role in helping to define and build a new personalized, interactive, online alumni community through Salesforce Community Cloud. Additional Community Cloud related duties will evolve as the new alumni community takes shape. Periodically, he/she will also provide photography, social media and other general support at events as well as occasional print design support.

Large event marketing campaigns include Alumni Weekend, Summer Series, Worldwide Welcome Weeks and more. On-going content marketing efforts include our Class Notes publication, Alumni Career Services programming, and News@Anderson newsletter.

The manager will collaborate regularly with OAR's internal career services, events, and data teams. In addition, this person will need to maintain cross-functional school partnerships, including Anderson's Office of the Dean, Marketing and Communications department and Computing and Information Services department. He/she will also be expected to hire, train and supervise the work of a team of part time student employees who provide graphic design, web programming and content management support.
