The Human Resources Managers and HR Generalists act in an advisory capacity and serves as a consultant to various client groups. This role administers and manages human resources policies and procedures related to employee relations, compensation, performance management and other special projects. This job works closely with both managers and employees to establish, maintain, and improve effective work relationships, build morale, attract, develop and retain talent, in order to support the University of Miami’s mission.
Salary based on education and experience HR Generalist (46k-55k) - Salary for HR Manager (60k-75k)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 2+ years' experience in Human Resources for Generalist; 5+ Years experience for HR Manager
- Strong Employee Relations and Performance Management experience
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
