Job Description:

Instructional facilitator will be responsible for assisting students taking guided self-study courses in the area of mathematics and business. Develop course curricula, preview and prepare instructional materials. Provide content tutoring for students and assign grades. Responsible for the continuous monitoring of student progress. Maintain records and prepare reports. Act as a liaison with Math Department. Additional duties as assigned by the Director of the CSDL.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Business, or Master's degree in Education with a focus in Mathematics; with one (1) year experience and/or training that includes course facilitation, content tutoring, course/curriculum development and instructional technology; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
• Will be required to work one evening shift (1:00 p.m.- 9 p.m.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of self-study model of teaching and learning is preferred.
• Experience in Community College setting.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $54,956.00 - $60,000.00. Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full state Benefits.

Grade: 5, Unit-Professional position
