Description:

The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is seeking a tenure/non-tenure accruing position at the level of an Assistant, Associate or Professor in the Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery with a primary (8/8th) appointment at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. This hospital serves the Florida population and is a referral center for complex valve and trans catheter valves from Georgia and Puerto Rico. This surgeon will join two other outstanding surgeons with a focus on providing exceptional care and teaching for our residency program. This surgeon will join a cohesive and collegial division of nine surgeons and have an appointment at the brand new UF Health Heart and Vascular Hospital.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Must have a MD degree or equivalent and be board certified or eligible in Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgery.

Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have exposure and an interest in complex valve and trans catheter.
