Description:

The University of Florida, Department of Community Health and Family Medicine is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to provide direct patient care with teaching responsibilities for UF medical students and Family Medicine Residents who rotate to the clinic. In addition, this position will teach medical students and residents during patient care activities and participate in educational conferences, seminars, and lectures. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Full-time preferred, however, part-time is acceptable depending upon the needs of the clinic and applicant.

Clinical Duties:

This position is responsible for the delivery of full-time direct primary health care at the UF Health – Family Medicine Springhill II Clinic. This position will provide direct patient care and participate in inpatient or clinic call rotations. In addition, this position may work closely with APRN/PAs in a supervisory role providing team-based care using innovative models.

Educational Activities:

Teaching medical students and residents during patient care activities at UF Health – Family Medicine Springhill II Clinic and participate in educational conferences, seminars, and lectures.

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent, board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine and current Florida medical license or eligibility is required.
