Description:

The University of Florida Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, part of UF Health, the Southeast's most comprehensive academic health center, invites applicants for a full-time, Non-Tenure track, Ast/Aso/Full Professor position in general gastroenterology, with a significant role in fellowship education. Rank status will be commensurate with qualifications. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

The ideal applicant will be board certified in Gastroenterology. Clinical duties would include weekly outpatient clinics, endoscopy, and staffing of the GI inpatient and consult services at UF Health Shands Hospitals. Teaching of inpatient and outpatient consultative care and endoscopy to fellows is required, with multiple other opportunities for teaching of resident, medical students, and students in other health professions.

Joint faculty appointment at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center is possible for the interested candidate.

The Gainesville region has an inexpensive cost of living, nationally ranked middle and high schools, and superb weather with endless year-round recreational opportunities.

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.


Qualifications:

Must be board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology; and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
