Description:

The Division of Genetics and Metabolism at the Department of Pediatrics at University of Florida is inviting candidates at the non-tenure rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to apply for our clinical geneticist faculty position.

The Division of Genetics and Metabolism provides comprehensive clinical care and diagnostic genetics services to pediatric patients referred for the evaluation of genetic disorders. The division's mission is to effectively teach medical genetics to students and residents at all levels of their training, and to conduct clinical and molecular-based genetics research and expert clinical care.

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida—College of Medicine is the premier academic medical center for children in northern Florida, and hosts a broad range of NIH-funded biomedical scientists and clinical researchers who benefit from robust institutional support. There is an abundance of research opportunities and possibilities for collaboration throughout the university.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have an MD or MD/PhD, be board certified in pediatrics and be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
