The Department of Marketing & International Business in the Langdale College of Business Administration is now accepting applications for a non-tenure track faculty position.

The applicant should be capable of teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: Logistics and supply chain management, statistics and analytics, and operations management. Additionally, applicants should be capable of teaching in both an online and face-to-face environment. Additional responsibilities include mentoring undergraduate students involved in the logistics program and assisting in the continued development of the logistics program. Specific course assignments will be based upon departmental needs and the applicant’s exact areas of expertise.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in management, logistics, supply chain management, operations management, statistics, industrial engineering, industrial management or analytics from a regionally or equivalently accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the field of instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

ABD or have an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited university, minimum of two years of practical experience in one of the teaching areas, or a minimum of two years of teaching experience, or both.

Position Requires completion of VSU’s Annual Compliance Training course (such as State Business Transactions, Drug Free Workplace, Anti-Harassment Policy, Introduction to Information Security, Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Policy, USG Ethics Policy, Conflict of Interest/ Outside Activities Policy, Leave Procedures for Faculty and Staff, Georgia Open Records Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and Contracts 101. Supervisory positions require training in FMLA and Worker’s Compensation.

Position Requires a Criminal Background Check.

Position May Require Credit Check (if using P-Card, working with Cash, etc.).
