Position Summary:The successful candidate will work in the laboratory of Dr. Gauri Rao, and will focus on projects focused on characterizing the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of antibiotics and adjuvant therapy. This position will involve conducting modeling research projects that involve use of nonlinear mixed effects, physiologically based, mechanism based and systems based modeling techniques to design and optimize dosing regimens for drugs administered via different routes based on preclinical and clinical trial data.
Educational Requirements:A successful candidate will have a doctorate in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical engineering or a related field.
Qualifications and Experience:A successful candidate will have skills in modeling (e.g. Phoenix WinNonlin, S-ADAPT, ADAPT, R, MATLAB) and qualitative and quantitative research skills.
