Position Title: AIM Program Specialist - Grant-Funded

Salary: $42,485 per year

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Business or related field required and a minimum of three (3) years’experience in project/office management required OR bachelor’s degree inBusiness or related field and aminimum of one (1) year experience in project/office management required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook),effective communication, interpersonal, organization and problem solvingskills, and attention to detail required. Knowledge of the basic principles of accounting, purchasing andbudgeting preferred. Experience with grantwriting and working in both education and manufacturing industry preferred.Possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of hire and throughoutemployment required.


Duties:

Responsible for meeting the regional workforce developmentneeds by coordinating the development and delivery of educational programsalong with a variety of administrative and management functions to assist the AIMDirector with the day-to-day operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Director with strategically positioning AIM for growth.
Establish working relationships with College personnel, AIM Advisory Board Members, State and regional agency personnel.
Work closely with community constituencies and representatives of business, industry and non-profit organizations to identify and prioritize educational needs for workforce development.
Collaborate on projects pertaining to workforce development and regional manufacturing growth.
Assist recruited consultants to provide high-quality workforce development programs by tracking and assessing various aspects of programs and recommend revisions to ensure continuous improvements.
Compile, prepare, analyze, and maintain the statistical, financial, compliance and accounting data for all grant reports.
Coordinate with the College Business Office for various functions relating to financials and accounts receivable/payables for Department programs.
Lead and organize planning needs for AIM’s activities and events.
Attend Advisory Board Meetings, major AIM events, and annual professional conference.
Inventory, order, record, and maintain supplies, including equipment and training materials.
Support AIM Department staff with program operations.
Coordinate all travel arrangements for AIM department staff.
Prepare and analyze special reports as required.
Performs other duties related to the job description and as assigned by the Director of the AIM.
