(Contingent upon available funding): 0.00 - 0.00, Commensurate Work Schedule: Typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Position Summary: The ClinicalAssistant Professor of Psychiatry position will be in the Department ofPsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position is actively involved inteaching medical students and residents. Additionally, clinical services willbe provided in the OSU System. Appropriate effort and activity in clinicalresearch and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record ofsufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of ClinicalAssistant Professor. The position will work with existing behavioral healthfaculty.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
50% Outpatient Services (Adult); 45% Outpatient Services (Child); 2.5% Education; 2.5% AdministrativeEnvironmental Hazards:Possible exposureto hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.PhysicalRequirements:Ability to lift,carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel,talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonableaccommodations, sufficient to carry out specific job functions of apsychiatrist. -Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:-D.O. or M.D. withboard certification in child and adolescent psychiatry or board certificationeligible-Eligible forlicensure in the state of OklahomaSkills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:Knowledge of allareas related to the clinical practice of child and adolescent psychiatry.Requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, advancedproblem solving skills, practice management experience, and the ability toeffectively plan. Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medicalrecords. Good communication and leadership skills are a positive.
