The assistant will be responsible for responding in a timely and accurate way to inquiries to both offices from students, faculty, and the public, as well as maintaining accurate records pertaining to student enrollment, budgets, and other data. Position requires excellent interpersonal, project management, and data management skills.Essential Functions The following list of duties is meant to be representative of the work performed in this position. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical extension of position responsibilities.Provide excellent service to students and faculty in person, via email, and on the phone Accurately maintain budgets and process reimbursement forms. Effectively utilize the software which manages student academic records, ensuring their integrity and appropriate confidentiality. Provide hospitable interactions with members of the public. Organize book distribution at the beginning of the term and collection at the end. As needed, conduct data analysis projects to support the work of both offices. Assist with mailings and other communications. Assist with the planning and organization for Commencement and related activities. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree Intercultural competence and the ability to work with diverse populations Excellent organizational skills Knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and openness to learning new software Extraordinary customer service Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Flexibility, student-centeredness, and a strong work ethic Good judgement and the ability to full maintain confidentiality Preferred QualificationsProfessional experience working with college students Experience with the Jenzabar software system Prior work experience dealing with the public
